INSTRUCTIONS IF USING AN IPHONE

• Open up App Store.

• Click the ‘Search’ button in the bottom right-hand corner.

• Search for ‘ZOOM Cloud Meetings’ and the top app will have a blue picture with a white camera in the middle.

• Click ‘Get’ to begin download.

• As normal, the app will appear on the iPhone’s home page

• Open-up ‘Zoom’ by clicking on the app

• The first page having opened the App might ask you to accept whether the app can access your camera and microphone. Please accept all terms and conditions when asked.

INSTRUCTIONS IF USING AN ANDROID DEVICE

• Open up ‘Play Store’ from your list of applications

• At the top of the app there is a window to select ‘Search for apps & games’. If this does not appear click on the ‘Google Play’ sign at the top and it will appear.

• Search for ‘ZOOM Cloud Meetings’ and the top app will have a blue picture with a white camera in the middle.

• Click on this app and select install.

• As normal, the app will appear on your phone’s home page

• Open-up ‘Zoom’ by clicking on the app

• The first page having opened the App might ask you to accept whether the app can access your camera and microphone. Please accept all terms and conditions when asked.

INSTRUCTIONS IF JOINING BY PHONE (Landline or Mobile)

• Dial 020 3051 2874

• When prompted, using the keypad enter the meeting ID 985 009 1888 then #=

• When prompted for the participant ID, just press #

• Music will play until you are admitted to the service

• The host can mute/unmute phone participants

• Phone participants can hang up when they wish to leave the service.

IF CONNECTING VIA A LAPTOP

• If a pop-up asks to ‘Open zoom.us?’ select ‘Open zoom.us’

Instructions for joining a 'meeting'

Please join the 'meeting' five minutes ahead of time. Once you have downloaded zoom, when you click the invitation link, it will take you to a 'waiting room' where the 'host' will let you in.

However, if it doesn't, please...

• On the home screen select ‘Join a Meeting’.

• You will be asked to enter a ‘Meeting ID’. This will usually be 985 009 1888 . The direct link will be sent in an email to you if you are on our mailing list. (If you are asked for a password, please contact admin@specr.org or treasurer@specr.org)

• You should now join the call with the clergy and other parishioners

• Please ensure the ‘Mute’ button is active so only the clergy can be heard through the call.

• You might be held in a 'waiting room', the host will allow you in.

• If any other instructions are suggested, please accept / follow them.
