CONFIRMATION 2025

Confirmation can be an important part of a lifetime journey of faith as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Our Confirmation Classes will begin in March. If you are new to the faith, revisiting it after many years or not yet baptised and/or confirmed, why not take the next step in your journey with Christ? St Philip's candidates will be Commissioned at St Philip's on Sunday 9 March, and the Confirmation service is at St Mary Abbots Church on Thursday June 5. There will be eight sessions between March and June to help candidates prepare for confirmation on Tuesdays: 4pm for youth and 7pm for the adults. Email vicarstphilips@specr to join the group

Key dates: 

First Class (Youth): Tuesday 4 March. Youth confirmation dates HERE 

First Class (Adult): Monday 3 March, and then weekly from Tuesday 11 March.  Adult confirmation dates HERE

Commissioning of Candidates: Sunday 9 March 

Confirmation classes: 8 weeks from Tuesday 4 March (Youth) OR Monday 3 March (Adult) to 20 May (excluding 8, 15 & 22 April & 13 and 27 May)

Confirmation rehearsal: Wednesday 4 June at 6pm at St Mary Abbots Church

Confirmation service: Thursday 5 June at 6.30pm at St Mary Abbots Church
