Biography:

Grace Dong studied at the Shanghai Conservatoire of Music. She was awarded a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, where she is currently in her third year studying with John Byrne. Her career so far has taken her to Italy, Poland, Japan and Austria. In 2017, Grace performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Naples Symphony Orchestra, and in 2018 she performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2023, she performed Liszt's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Lydian Orchestra in Sevenoaks. Last year she won the Sevenoaks Young Musician of the Year Competition and was awarded Third Place in the Chappell Medal Piano Competition at the RCM.
